Extra Online Briefing Session now added for sports clubs, schools and VCS organisations in Stockton-on-Tees.

Tees Valley Community Foundation is working with the Premier League, The FA and Government’s Football Foundation on an exciting initiative called PlayZones, which is currently being rolled out in Stockton-on-Tees.

Football Foundation PlayZones are small-sided recreational facilities that have the potential to host a variety of different sports. PlayZones will help people become more active and provide opportunities for people who face barriers to engaging with sport and physical activity programmes.

In order to share information about the Football Foundation PlayZone opportunity, Tees Valley Community Foundation is running PlayZone Briefing Sessions.

Note – These Briefing Sessions are designed as an information sharing exercise only.  No decisions have yet been made locally about where Football Foundation PlayZones could be located across Stockton-on-Tees or who potential operators of PlayZone sites could be.

A further online briefing session has now been added for January 24th – 4pm-5pm. Please email Pippa Ware on p.ware@teesvalleyfoundation.org to secure your place and register your attendance no later than Friday 20th January  – a Teams link will be sent to you the day before the session – only one place per organisation can be accommodated.

If you would like to find out more, but are unable to attend this session, please contact Pippa to express interest.
