The Godfrey Humphreys Trust is an opportunity and a way to commemorate the family name by financially supporting a student with the same passion for horticulture (or equestrianism.)  When younger Godfrey had always wanted to study at Askam Bryan but with the pressure of working in a busy family business he was not able to achieve this goal.

  • Very keen to help someone achieve their potential within the horticulture floristry or equestrianism
  • Godfrey was a keen gardener.
  • Beautiful garden always happy to give advice answer questions also a very talented florist creating beautiful flower arrangements
  • Very good horseman owned many horses the last one called Heather.
  • Keen dressage competitor 
  • In early times rode to hounds, team chasing, show jumping and cross country as well as hacking out on Saltburn beach.
