The Marske Centre is a community organisation in East Cleveland, established to promote the wellbeing of local people by working in partnership with the local authority to provide education and employment opportunities. The centre, being a hub for the community, provides social and recreational facilities and organised activities for all ages including children’s groups, social and sporting activities. Currently the centre is closed due to Covid-19 but they anticipate high demand for their services once they are allowed to re-open and want to be ready to respond to this need. With their regular income streams on hold, the group required support with running costs. TVCF were able to help with funding to ensure that this vital community service survives the pandemic.
